Facing investigations, Obama's Ex-Boss Davis quits pension board





The Chicago Sun-Times reports:
A City Hall insider whose companies are under city and federal investigation has resigned from a state pension board, the first casualty of a new law designed to clean house in Illinois' pension systems.

Allison S. Davis tendered his resignation to the Illinois State Board of Investment on April 17 but asked that his departure be retroactive to April 3, according to his resignation letter, obtained by the Chicago Sun-Times.
Davis is closely tied to Obama,Mayor Daley,and alleged former Chicago Mob linked bookmaker Rod Blagojevich.
