Tony Peraica’s neighbor’s home was shot at Wednesday morning, and police officials speculate that the Cook County commissioner’s house was the intended target, according to various news reports.No word yet from Mayor Daley on this one.
Mr. Peraica, who lives in west suburban Riverside, told CBS 2 that he heard shots about 3 a.m. and got up to look, but didn't see anything. He said police found bullet holes in the façade of the home to the east of him early Thursday. A total of seven shots were fired, according to news reports.
