Mayor Daley: Illinois has 'moved on' from Blagojevich scandal

The Chicago Tribune reports:
Mayor Richard Daley today said Illinois already has “moved on” from the corruption scandal involving former Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who was indicted Thursday along with five others, including his brother.

“It’s very sad and it’s very unfortunate for him and all those that are involved. Like anything else, this state has moved on. Pat Quinn is the governor, and you just move on with it,” the mayor said at an unrelated news conference.
Who could forget that Rod Blagojevich was a prosecutor working for Richard Daley's Cook County State's Attorney Office, years ago?
