Audit: Calif. wasted $580,000 on unused offices

San Diego Union Tribune reports:
California's auditor says state government wasted nearly $600,000 when it left leased office space in San Diego vacant for four years.

State Auditor Elaine Howle released an audit Tuesday of whistle-blower claims and found substantial allegations in several agencies.
But,the advocates of government run health care claim the government can run things cheaper and more efficiently than the private sector!
