Valerie Jarrett Puff Piece in The Washington Post

The Washington Post has written a puff piece on Obama's top aide Valerie Jarrett. It's long but here is a rather interesting quote:
In her one brush with seeking to become a more public political figure, Jarrett narrowly escaped being pulled into a potentially embarrassing drama. After Obama's election, she was mentioned as possible replacement to fill his Senate seat in Illinois, pushed by Emanuel in a conversation with an aide to Rod Blagojevich (D) that was recorded by investigators preparing to indict the since-ousted governor. Prosecutors said Obama aides did nothing inappropriate in the episode, and in the end Jarrett withdrew from consideration and opted to work for the new president.
Fitzgerald stated clearly in his press conference his office doesn't give clean bills of health to anyone. The Washington Post forgot to tell you a rather important fact. The day before Blagojevich was arrested,Fitzgerald office:
hit with a sweeping federal subpoena seeking eight years of calendars, correspondence, e-mails, logs, notes and other records
concerning none other than Valerie Jarrett.8 years! Yet,the Washington Post is rather silent on that. Why is Fitzgerald's office so interested in such a long, possible "relationship" between Blagojevich and Valerie Jarrett?
