Illinois Gov. Quinn: Tax hike possible

The Daily Journal reports:

Gov. Pat Quinn said Thursday he no longer is bound by a 2006 campaign pledge made by his ticket to not raise the income or sales tax.

That promise was the central theme of the Blagojevich/Quinn campaign, although Blagojevich was far more vocal on the matter than Quinn.

Blagojevich,for whatever his predictions are worth,said this would happen if he was removed from office.
