Rep. Jackson has talked to investigators about dealings with guv: report

Crain's Chicago Business reports:
A spokesman for U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. tells The Associated Press the congressman has talked to federal investigators about interactions with Gov. Rod Blagojevich and others for years.

Spokesman Kenneth Edmonds says Jackson has shared information about alleged public corruption. Edmonds wouldn't give details of those discussions Tuesday.

A report from WLS-TV in Chicago cites unidentified sources as saying Jackson has told investigators Blagojevich wouldn't appoint Jackson's wife as state lottery director because Jackson wouldn't donate $25,000 to the governor's campaign fund.

Jackson has acknowledged being the "Senate Candidate 5" referenced in the federal complaint against Blagojevich.
