Labor union now cooperating in Blagojevich probe

The Chicago Tribune reports:
Court documents in the corruption case of Gov. Rod Blagojevich refer to an unidentified "SEIU official" who had a secretly recorded conversation with the governor on Nov. 12. According to the court records, Blagojevich received the SEIU official as an "emissary" on behalf of Valerie Jarrett, President-elect Barack Obama’s one-time preference for his Senate replacement.

In the conversation, Blagojevich allegedly suggested the creation of a non-profit organization that he would lead and that could provide help to Jarrett as senator.
