A former high-ranking state official and childhood pal of Gov. Rod Blagojevich was sentenced Monday to 15 weekends in the McHenry County jail after pleading guilty to a 2005 charge of drunken driving. Daniel E. Stefanski, 48, also agreed to serve 18 months probation and pay fines totaling $2,500 as part of a plea bargain that saw him escape possible conviction and longer jail sentences on allegations he resisted arrest and tried to punch a correctional officer.You'll be hearing more about Dan Stefanski and Blagojevich.
