Obama's Chicago To Get Even Higher Taxes to Deal With Huge Budget Deficit

The Chicago Tribune reports:
Mayor Richard Daley will unveil his new budget to taxpayers today, a spending plan expected to rely on increased taxes for downtown parking and ballgame tickets, layoffs and unpaid days off for city workers.

City Hall has trickled out details of Daley's budget speech the past week as the administration worked to close what it now says is a $469 million shortfall over this year and next.
Some of the highest taxes in the nation are about to go higher.A true Democratic Party happening in Chicago.
