Chicago Sun-Times Columnist Encourages Get Out the Vote Drive for Obama

Columnist Mary Mitchell of the Chicago Sun-Times is something of a Obama campaign manager on the Sun-Times payroll:

Obama is going to need every single vote he can muster to overcome the naysayers.

If the rest of the country wants to be in denial about the racial hurdle Obama must jump, let them.

But African Americans know what time it is.

And now a brief word to the drama queens and kings out there. I really hope you consider early voting.

African-American voters have helped elect every Democratic president, and this election is no different despite the campaign's focus on blue-collar voters.

So don't be fooled.

We wonder if David Axelrod is cutting Mary Mitchell a check for that nice advertising just days before the campaign.
