Chicago Tribune Editorial Defends Obama Against Chicago Machine Label

The Chicago Tribune editorial page defends Obama against the Chicago Machine lable:
Aside from an ill-advised relationship with Rezko, there’s little here that reflects negatively on Obama.
The Chicago Tribune editorial board hopes you forget that Obama supports the Chicago Democratic Machine to the core.Obama could have supported Forrest Claypool but instead supported Todd Stroger.Obama supports Cook County's high sales tax.Obama never supported Wal-Mart expanding in Chicago.Obama doesn't mind half-empty public schools bleeding the taxpayers dry.Since,Democrats have controlled Chicago since 1931,if Obama was a reformer he wouldn't be a Democrat.Obama also supports Alderman Roti's handgun ban.Obama has been strangely silent on Mayor Daley's scandal prone administration. One can't thing of one major issue where Barack Obama and the Chicago Democratic Machine are at odds.
