PINK Floyd star David Gilmour has revealed the secret of their success - lack of musical talent.
He says the band had to be different because they were not good enough to play blues like other groups of the era.
So they became legends after developing their own "spacey, atmospheric" sound by accident.
The singer and guitarist, 62, said: "We were never the most proficient musicians.
