A Roti Makes it to the Top of the Chicago Police Department

New Chicago Police Supt. Jody Weis is dusting and cleaning again.

• • Translation: Not only did Weis elevate three top cops to acting deputy chiefs -- Juan Rivera, James O'Grady and Nicholas Roti -- but he is dispatching Internal Affairs Division Acting Cmdr. Hector Rodriguez to become acting commander of the Area 4 detective division, ostensibly to be able to move an FBI agent/ close pal at O'Hare into a top IAD position.

We wonder if Nicholas Roti is related to Alderman Roti,the high ranking made member of the Chicago Mob? We wonder if Nicholas Roti ever socialized with Alderman Roti(after Alderman Roti became a convicted felon)?
