Jesse Jackson Jr.: Rezko tried to influence airport

Phil Kadner reports:
Tony Rezko tried to negotiate a third airport deal in the south suburbs in 2006 on behalf of the governor, according to U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Chicago).

"There was no doubt he was a state actor at that meeting," Jackson said. "I didn't call Tony Rezko.

"I was calling (then Illinois Transportation Secretary) Tim Martin and Deputy Governor Bradley Tusk. They were supposed to come to that meeting. They didn't show up. Rezko did."
It interesting that Jesse Jackson Jr. an Obama National Campaign Co-Chair would be saying this.
