She said she would also use the White House bully pulpit to inveigh against the current level of executive pay. Though it is difficult to reduce such pay with new laws, she said, she wanted to consider proposals that law school and business school professors have made along these lines.The state must regulate virtually everything to some "progressives".
“We have this class of professional corporate managers who are not the creators of the corporation — they very rarely had anything to do with starting the business or building it up,” she said. “And they come in and they believe their No. 1 obligation is to secure the biggest possible pay package at the expense at everybody else.”
