PR-Inside reports:
The British bootlegger convicted after LED ZEPPELIN star JIMMY PAGE testified in court against him has been sentenced to 20 months in jail.
Robert Langley was handed his sentence at Glasgow Sheriff Court in Scotland on Thursday (30Aug07).
The 58-year-old had originally denied trademark and copyright infringements after he was caught with illegal recordings at a record fair in Glasgow, Scotland in 2005, but changed his plea to guilty after hearing Page’s testimony.
Page agreed to testify at the trial after British Phonographic Industry officials asked him to help them get a conviction.
Langley’s haul of CDs and DVDs included $23,000 (£11,500) of counterfeit Led Zeppelin material.
