The federal jury deliberated for three days last week before heading home. They came back to court this morning to resume deliberations, and court officials say they plan to announce a verdict (at 2 p.m.) this afternoon.

The jury must actually have reached the verdict last Thursday afternoon. They did not deliberate Friday or over the weekend. When they came in Monday morning at 9:30, just literally minutes later, they notified the judge they had a verdict.

The jury probably decided to sleep on it over the weekend. They came back to make sure everybody still felt the same. Indeed they did. There will be a verdict announced at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon in the judge's courtroom where the trial has been going on since early June.
We will have an update later.
