Merc's executive chairman endorses Clinton

In a big political surprise, CME Group Inc. Executive Chairman Terrence Duffy, a major Republican Party fundraiser, is endorsing Democrat Hillary Clinton for president.

“Like no other candidate, Hillary Clinton crosses party lines to combine the visionary leadership and pragmatic problem-solving skills that this country needs,” Mr. Duffy said in a statement released late Wednesday morning by the Clinton campaign and confirmed by a CME Group spokesman.

Visionary means shaking down taxpayers through a TIF district for the hardly downtrodden Duffy.
