Pippen takes bath on Oregon house

The AP reports:

Former NBA and Central Arkansas star Scottie Pippen took a bath -- to the tune of a million dollars -- on his 18,000, 700-square-foot mansion at Portland, Oregon. The house, with six full bathrooms and three half-baths on 2.28 acres, was sold last month by Pippen and his wife, Larsa, for $2.95 million. They bought it in 2000 for four million dollars.

Portland's real estate market has been good in recent months, defying the national downturn, but real estate agents say things are different with big houses at the high end.

I guess not everyone makes money in real estate.
