Ex-FBI Director Freeh joins Fannie Mae board

USA Today reports:
Fannie Mae (FNM), the largest U.S. mortgage finance company, said Wednesday that former FBI Director Louis Freeh will join its board of directors.

Freeh will work on the board's compliance and compensation committees. He becomes the eighth new director elected to Fannie's board since 2004. Freeh was director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation from 1993 to 2001.
Imagine that.
