Union boss 'disgusted' by teacher-data breach

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:
A "disgusted'' Chicago Teachers Union president charged Monday that Schools CEO Arne Duncan should be fired if he can't "guarantee'' that teacher privacy will not be compromised again following a massive Social Security breach.

CTU President Marilyn Stewart said she called Mayor Daley to complain that the recent theft of two laptops from Chicago public school headquarters marked the third time in less than six months that teacher privacy was threatened.
Can the "government" protect you from identity theft? This is going to become very common if we get national health care.
