Unemployment rates in big metros are still low, under 5% almost across the board. If you dig a little deeper though, some cracks begin to appear in the employment picture in our urban centers. Job growth has been negative over the past five years in each of the three biggest metro areas, New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Job growth has been equally bleak in Philadelphia and the San Francisco Bay Area.No word yet from the urban lovers on all that job growth back in the big cities.
