Female Chicago Cop charged with domestic battery

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:
A female Chicago Police officer was arrested and charged with domestic battery Thursday in the Princeton Park neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The officer was arrested and stripped of her police powers after she was involved in a domestic dispute on the 200 block of West 92nd Street Thursday morning, according to police News Affairs Officer David Banks.

She becomes the latest of several officers stripped of their police powers in the last two weeks because of a series of off-duty incidents of violence.

The female officer worked in the Operations Command Unit, said Banks, who did not have any further information about the officer.

She was charged with one count of domestic battery, Banks said.

Details of the incident and court information was unavailable, according to Banks.
No word yet from jail on what William Hanhardt has to say. Also,no word from the gun control people on police having a legal monopoly on guns in Chicago.
