McCain rips Club for Growth

Polipundit reports:

McCain blames the Club for Growth for the Republicans losing power in the Senate, because of the campaign against Lincoln Chafee.

He may be right. But that’s a good thing. We had a choice: leave the corrupt, big-spending, pork-dealing Republicans in power, or send a message that we are not happy with choosing between two big-government parties.

McCain doesn’t care if Congress is run by a corrupt, big-spending party, as long as it’s his corrupt, big-spending party.
