The Chicago Tribune has an editorial promoting Chicago for the 2016 Olympics:
Chicago has led America's urban renaissance. It attracts talented people of many walks and nationalities to its thriving, energetic neighborhoods. It would provide a memorable home for a Summer Olympics in the American heartland.
Thriving? The Chicago Tribune just days ago explained how Chicago was in
decline. Here's a quote from the Chicago Tribune:
Between 2000 and 2005, Chicago's population fell to 2,842,518, a decrease of 2 percent.
Few cities are "thriving" in population decline to the tune of a 2% decline in 5 years.
