Census Estimates Shows Wayne and Cook County Are Leaders in Decline

The Boston Globe reports on new census estimates:
the population picture was much gloomier in some other urban areas across the country, such as Detroit-dominated Wayne County, which lost about 89,000 people, and Chicago-centered Cook County, whose population dropped by about 88,000.
