The NRA Fails To Endorse the Most Pro-Gun Candidate

Lew Rockwell reports:
Take the National Rifle Association, which is all too happy to compromise with power, like almost everyone in DC. I say "almost everyone" because of Ron Paul. On gun issues, for example, he has always been 100%--supporting the right to keep and bear arms for reasons of hunting and target shooting, opposing crime, and keeping what remains of our freedom. That is, he is for gun rights for the same reasons that Thomas Jefferson was.

So the NRA endorses Ron's opponent, a lobbyist who sorta supports gun sports, but that is all--along with the whole police-warfare-welfare state--over the most pro-gun, pro-freedom member of congress.

Shame on the NRA. But then, Ron makes all the DC types nervous. In the sink of corruption, the you scratch my bank, I'll scratch yours looting capital of the world, a man of unshakeable libertarian principle can do that.
Imagine that.
