Sports betting lounge to open today

The Detriot Free Press reports:

Starting today, metro Detroiters will be able to cross the Canadian border to Windsor and place live bets on sports, something that is legal in the United States only in Nevada.

Casino Windsor officials are betting the move will attract sports-crazy metro Detroiters to Legends, its new sports lounge, helping to ease the malaise that has lingered over the Windsor casino business following travel restrictions imposed after 9/11.

Some places want business and some don't.
