Is Rahm Emanuel A Target Of the Patronage Scandal in Chicago?

Is Rahm Emanuel in legal trouble?
Forty of the more than 200 people who walked precincts gathering signatures to put Democratic U.S. Rep. Rahm Emanuel on this year's ballot have names that also appear on the secret clout list uncovered during the federal trial of Mayor Daley's patronage chief Robert Sorich.

The Northwest Side congressman's Republican rival is calling for a federal investigation and demanding that Emanuel explain the "intentional, premeditated and pervasive use" of city workers on his re-election campaign.

"He needs to belly up and answer these questions," said Kevin Edward White, who is challenging Emanuel in the Northwest Side and suburban 5th Congressional District.

"If he was knowingly involved in this, he's the beneficiary of a criminal conspiracy."
Rahm Emanuel may not want to talk about a "culture of corruption",since Cook County is the most corrupt county in the United States.Congressman Emanuel seems not know who's working on his campaign.
