Cook County State's Attorney Aid held in shakedown

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:

The niece of a high-ranking Cook County state's attorney employee has been charged with theft in connection with an alleged scheme to shake down people trying to reclaim assets seized during criminal investigations, the Chicago Sun-Times has learned.
