Black Illinois State Senator Calls Black Politicians Who Support The Chicago Public School System "House Niggers"

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:
Months after he flirted with a run for governor, the Rev. James Meeks delivered a blistering report card Friday on Mayor Daley's leadership on public education, arguing he has failed African-American children by presiding over a system that worsened under his leadership.

"How can the nation's third-largest city be comfortable with the fact that only six out of every 100 high school students will graduate from college?" Meeks demanded at a Federal Plaza rally. "That means the mayor who brags about how great he's done in the area of education has a 94 percent failure rate. . . .

"These kids who started in kindergarten, they wasn't messed up when they started in kindergarten. They were not messed up in the first grade. They did not get messed up until they enrolled in the Mayor Daley run-school system."
Reverend Meeks is also an Illinois State Senator. It's difficult to argue with the facts.Prominent politicians such as Rahm Emanuel and Barak Obama don't send their kids to the Chicago Public Schools. In other great Chicago news, the Brookings Institution just released a study saying the Chicago area jobs lost 109,900 between 2000-2005.
