Biggest New York Municipal Union Gets Contract

The New York Times reports:

The Bloomberg administration and the city’s largest municipal union, District Council 37, have reached a tentative 32-month contract that gives union members raises totaling 10 percent and ends a requirement that they live in the city, union leaders said yesterday.

This could cut the demand for NYC real estate.
