The Long New York Commute

Kansas City.com reports:
Glen Silverman's day starts just before 3 a.m., when the financial industry consultant leaves his Doylestown apartment to jog. About 5:30, he catches a bus to work.

None of this is particularly unusual, except for the early hour, and Silverman's destination: New York City.

The bus trip of approximately 75 miles takes two hours. When Silverman buys his tickets in a book of 40, the trip costs him more than $400 a month.
A commute most Americans don't want to make.
