"King of Vote Fraud" Is Daley Insider

ABC TV Chicago reports:
In this Intelligence Report: the city clout list. It was presented in court Monday during the patronage trial of Robert Sorich. The list includes the names of nearly 6,000 people looking for city jobs and their sponsors.

One sponsor who shows up numerous times is Dominic Longo, who has been known as "the king of vote fraud."

"I helped a lot of guys get elected," Longo said.

Among those Dominic Longo says he helped get elected is Mayor Richard M. Daley. So it is not too surprising to find in these so-called clout lists that Longo's name appears 121 times as a referring sponsor for city job seekers. The lists cover an eight year period beginning in 1989, the very year that Longo recalls his association with a Daley campaign.
That's the Chicago Way.
