Daley had court reporter for FBI interviews

The Chicago Tribune reports:
The FBI has conducted more than 1,000 interviews during its investigation of Mayor Richard Daley's administration, but Daley alone had a court reporter present to transcribe his statement to investigators, an FBI agent testified Thursday.

John Hauser, the lead agent in the City Hall corruption investigation, told jurors that the FBI and U.S. attorney's office agreed to the arrangement before Daley's Aug. 26 interview. Authorities also agreed to give the mayor the chance to review the transcript and revise or amend his answers, Hauser said.
Sounds like the Feds don't need to charge Daley with perjury.
