Chicago Politics Keeps Lack of experience, 3 accidents, still on job

The Chicago Tribune reports:
When Denise Alcantar applied for a job at Mayor Richard Daley's City Hall, she had never worked as a truck driver.

Alcantar had other critical qualifications, though: She was a member of the influential pro-Daley Hispanic Democratic Organization and a friend of one of its leaders.

Within six months of getting hired, Alcantar crushed a fellow worker against a telephone pole as she wheeled her garbage truck out of an alley.

The 2003 accident was so serious that the injured employee, a grandmother of 10, may never work again.
Politics isn't about justice or doing the right thing. Is all about fleecing the taxpayers.Politics kills because things aren't based on merit.Handing more tasks over to the government means more health and safety are at risk. This is a hard concept for those who worship the state.
