U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky To Host Women's Only Conference

Michael Sneed reports:
No boys allowed!

U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) is co-hosting a dinner for new Chilean President Michelle Bachelet, the first woman to lead her country, and men aren't invited.

*To wit: The event, scheduled for June 8 at Washington's Ritz-Carlton hotel, is expected to bring out some of the nation's most powerful political femmes, including Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Sen. Elizabeth Dole, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Illinois' own, Republican Rep. Judy Biggert. Actress Geena Davis, who played the nation's first female president in the recently canceled "Commander in Chief," is scheduled to speak.
How about that for inclusiveness from Jan Schakowsky, friend of the Chicago Democratic Socialists of America?
