John Daley in-law gets jail time

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:
The brother-in-law of Cook County Commissioner John Daley was sentenced to 18 months in prison today for taking about $5,400 in bribes to steer city business to a Hired Truck company. The brother-in-law, John Briatta, 46, also took a loan from George Prado, who worked in the city's Water Department with Briatta and has been accused of running a heroin ring and threatening to kill a drug courier, according to a federal prosecutor and court records.
