Before Tia McKinnon's son Davion was 2 years old, she let him watch television shows such as "Blue's Clues." They were educational, and she could get some housework done.Anyone with young children should read this one.
"I wouldn't say it hurt him at all," McKinnon said, noting that Davion now is a smart, musical, analytical 4-year-old.
While television watching among children long has been debated, the latest battleground is whether children under 2 years of age should watch at all.
The American Academy of Pediatrics and other child development experts say they shouldn't because studies suggest watching can delay development.
