NCAA Tells Ohio State To Take Down Banner

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:
Ohio State's basketball team got some relief from off-court grief Friday long before it won its first game in the Big Ten tournament at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Although the NCAA's punishment for rules violations by former coach Jim O'Brien and assistant Paul Biancardi included a three-year probation, the removal of the 1999 Final Four banner and a return of some $800,000 in past NCAA tournament purse money
Revisionist history comes to Ohio State.Taking a banner down. What a joke.
