"Part of the problem is if you've got an adult population where 64 percent of the adults are obese, that's the model that the upcoming generation sees every day. So the potential for it to become the norm, that's part of the self-perpetuating cycle," said Lloyd Kolbe, a professor of applied health science at Indiana University in Bloomington.
