Was 1967 the Best Year in Music?

The Daily Mail reports:
It was known as the Summer of Love, the year that British bands took over America.

The Beatles released Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band while the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd stormed the US charts, launching themselves onto the global stage.

Now 1967 - the year when the hippy movement swept the world - has received the ultimate accolade from music fans.

They have named it as the greatest year for pop.
We agree that 1967 was a significant year in music.1967 was the first year LP's outsold Singles. But,we'd argue that clearly 1971 was by far the best year in music.1971 includes the release of : Who's Next,Led Zeppelin 4,Yes' Fragile, and Jethro Tull's Aqualung.Hard to beat that in one year.
