Outside of St. Louis and a few other NHL cities, the loathing of a league that left us for an entire season appears to be gone.Much better than expected.
The NHL recently announced that its attendance figures for November and October were the highest in the league's 88-year history. The average attendance last month was 16,818 a game, 2 percent higher than the previous record for November set in 2001.
