Illinois Gamblers Could Be Carded

The Chicago Tribune reports on the Nanny state in Illinois:
Every gambler who walks into a casino in Illinois would have to present his or her driver's license or state ID card under a proposal being considered by the Illinois Gaming Board.

The proposal is an attempt to stop compulsive gamblers who have voluntarily banned themselves from the state's nine casinos from entering the boats anyway when they get the urge to place a bet.

Gaming Board officials did not say how soon they might make a decision on the suggestion, but on Tuesday board Chairman Aaron Jaffe said something needs to be done.
Can people who run a corrupt state like Illinois help you if you have a gambling problem?
