Big changes are in the works at Chicago Public Schools. Officials are expected to recommend closing as many as six schools this morning.It's difficult to keep public schools open when you have a declining school age population.Great moments in the non-urban comeback.
CBS 2’s Kristyn Hartman reports the affected principals apparently got the word last night. Their staffers will be hearing more this morning.
Questions still remain as to which schools will be closed. A spokesperson for CPS said it’s hard to put an exact number on it at this point due to activities at various schools
