The union said the latest MTA offer included annual raises of 3 percent, 4 percent and 3.5 percent; the previous proposal included 3 percent raises each year. MTA workers earn around $47,000 to $55,000 annually.Not bad for people who don't need a college degree.If these workers feel they are so underpaid why don't they quit and go into some other industry???
