N.H. ready for secession debate

Here's a story about how onetown wants to seceed.
A New Hampshire commission has formally notified Vermont officials that they're ready to start talks about Killington switching states, so the stage is set for debate of the issue in the Vermont Legislature.

Rep. Harry Chen, D-Mendon, who also represents Killington, said Friday he is having legislation drafted that would at least bring the town's secession efforts formally in front of his colleagues.

"I decided to take the two votes in Killington to heart," he said. "Seeing as I do represent them, I plan to work with the Legislature to bring up the issue.
If you believe in freedom you have allow people a way out who don't want to be part of an oppressive system.
