The Los Angeles Times Admits Outrageous Claim is False

As Mickey Kaus would say sometimes the layers of editors still can't get the story right. Here's a gem from the L.A.Times :
Religion and government: A Dec. 18 article defending the separation of church and state stated that the Rev. Jerry Falwell claimed that Ellen DeGeneres played a role in the 9/11 attacks and Hurricane Katrina because she was the host of the Emmy Awards before both events. He made no such claim.
In the strange world of the establishment media the white, male, christian Southerner is an object of derision. It appears that Rev.Falwell is less popular at the L.A. Times than Brokeback Mountain.
