Apple Ranked Fastest Growing Website

Apple is doing real well:
Apple was ranked the top growing website of November 2005. Although Apple.com was the top growing website, this doesn't necessary equate the most volume. Instead, Yahoo! appears to have the most unique visitors in November with 103,882,000, followed by Google with 85,526,000.

Nielsen-Soundscan contends traffic is being driven to Apple.com because of the "increasingly popular iTunes." Yet this line of reasoning appears to contradict with some of Nielsen-Soundscan’s own research, which contends that digital music sales have remained flat. According to Nielsen-Soundscan's, 2005 started off fast and furious for digital music sales. In May 2005, over 6.4 million downloads were selling per week. By September, this number had risen to only 6.6 million downloads per week.

There's no doubt the iTunes music store is drawing traffic to Apple.com, but it’s not the only avenue. With stagnated music sales, the iPod is more likely Apple.com's inescapable allure.
I-Tunes software is user friendly.
